Project Name

Sensobot : We Sense You

A mini sized tortoise shaped bot, which runs on a battery, with multiple sensors that can assist in detecting and reporting the leakage of gases, spillage of oil in chemical and oil industries. The Sensobot can move around on a various terrains just like a tortoise which moves in rugged terrains.

 

KEY COMPONENTS

  • DHT – to detect the temperature and humidity in the air.
  • MQL Sensor – to detect leakage of gases
  • Fire Sensor – to detect flames
  • Servo motor – for moving the bot
  • Bluetooth and Remote access – to command the movement of the bot
  • Ultrasonic sensor – to detect obstacles while moving
  • Camera & Mic – To transmit live images and audio
  • Sensobot Controller App – Used for navigating the bot remotely via Bluetooth

HOW DOES IT WORKS?

  • Sensobot moves around constantly transmitting its location’s temperature, humidity, air components, live images and audio
  • It is integrated with an apps which can alert the users in events where the temperature, gases etc. go beyond the permissible limits

Project Name

Auto Moisture Rigrare

It stands for “Automatic Moisture Irrigation”. This prototype is has been developed to cater to continuously provide optimum quantity of water to plants with the help of solar energy. Different water needs of each plant can be catered.

KEY COMPONENTS

  • LER – Light emitting register, helps in changing the solar panels direction based on direction od sunlight
  • Servo Motor – Changes the direction of panel
  • Auridino board
  • Soil moisture sensor – Senses the moisture of the soil

HOW DOES IT WORKS?

  • Soil moisture sensor tracks the moisture level of the soil. Upon the decrease in the moisture content, it intimates the Auridino board, which activates the motor. The solar panel helps supplying power to the motor
  • Based on each plant’s requirement, threshold soil moisture content levels can be defined
  • This helps in minimal intervention of humans for watering of plants in large gardens

Project Name

Virtual Vision

Virtual vision acts as a third eye for visually impaired by gathering information on the proximity of the obstacles and gives verbal instructions to the user.

KEY COMPONENTS

  • Ultrasonic Sensor – Detects obstacles
  • PIR Sensor – Records motion and triggers buzzing sound
  • SD-Card adapter

HOW DOES IT WORKS?

  • With the help of Ultrasonic Sensor and PIR sensor, the device informs the user the distance of obstacle
  • For example, if the user is 1 m away from the obstacle, the prototype will intimate the user with a recorded message that he/she is 1m away
  • Based on the distance of the object, the intensity of the buzzing sound increases. The more close the object is, the more the buzzing sound
